We have a 2003 Nissan Xterra V6,3.3 lt. it came up with codes P0340

A few years ago it popped either p0011, p0021 or both. The timing chains were changed ( also had noisy guides) and it still popped both codes. It was parked for a while, and i finally tried diagnosing this. I changed oil weights 10w40, pulled both solenoids and cleaned them, but both codes came back. Today i just repaced both solenoids, and ...P0011 and P0021 codes. I was on my way over to a buddies to have him help with my brakes (long story that leads to me not trusting shops even more) and my check engine light pops. he so happens to have a code reader so i hook it up and it gives me 3 codes, two p0011 and a p0021. all three codes read the same thing so im assuming …
