Pyromancy is like easy mode in DS1. You don’t need to invest in faith or get intelligence as it scales off the level of the pyromancy flame. You need the merchant in blight town to level the pyromancy flame to the Max, if I remember correctly. As it doesn’t need much magic investment it pairs well with a strength/dex build.
